Was not expecting seeing a bunch of Betsumon here, nasty bunch indeed, and overall this episode was... really scary and sad, especially because sad Gammamon is heart wrenching and Meicoomon had a tragic ending, I hope Clockmon gives the Betsumon what they deserve for that.

On the other hand... can we all agree that the new ED freaking slaps? I love it, especially because BlackTailmon appears on it, hopefully a new ED means that we're entering in a new arc and that the story will take the turn we're hoping for soon enough.

The fake Digimon's name is Betsumon. In Japanese it's a play on words, "Betsumono" meaning "different thing" in english. Literally they're different mon's.

Although Betsumon's name stems from a cosplayer, cosplaying as Tailmon in V-Jump. Her nickname is "Tailmon Betsu". Still a good etymological explanation lol

Is it? I didnt know that. Can you explain more on the betsumon and cosplayer, please? Is it a person who calls themselves Betsumon who cosplays or is it a different type of etymological reason.

Hiro and Gammamon brotherly love is the central thing in this series. I have a theory that Hiro had a little brother that died. Thats why his mother went to work overseas and his father went to research other worlds. And it was probably an accident that gave him that scar in his ear.

Why do I get the feeling that Meicoomon is going to be an obstacle in the future and the thing is I can already see it…

Part 1: Meicoomon sees Gammamon isn’t forgotten and gets so mad he attacks him and Hiro.

Part 2: Gammamon digivolves into Betelgammamon and starts fighting back.

Part 3: Meicoomon frustrated that Gammamon is getting the life he deserves and digivolves to MeiCrackmon Vicious mode.

Part 4: Gammamon digivolving to Canoweissmon to even the odds then suddenly he changed back to Betelgammamon.

Part 5: MeiCrackmon having the upper hand starts wailing at Gammamon and Hiro getting scared of losing his little brother trigger him digivolving into Gulusgammamon.

Part 6: both evenly at each other’s throats Gulusgammamon starts getting more and more intense with his attacks and finally overpowering MeiCrackmon.

Part 7: Hiro try to stop the fight before Gulusgammamon could finish off MeiCrackmon only to have them both stopped by 3 members of The League of Dark Data BlackAgumon, BlackGargomon, and BlackTailmon ( F,O,R ).

Part 8: BlackAgumon keeping Hiro from getting closer to the fight and BlackGargomon and BlackTailmon holding back Gulusgammamon and MeiCrackmon.

Part 9: Gulusgammamon reverting back to Gammamon while being carried in BlackGargomon arms and BlackTailmon knocking out MeiCrackmon and reverting back to Meicoomon.

Part 10: Hiro Having Gammamon in his arms and the League of Dark Data leaving without saying a word while BlackTailmon was carrying Meicoomon in his arms.

The summer season is here for them and once they enter break, they have enough time for other priorities.

BTW, Meicoomon appearing out of nowhere who was a victim of Betsumon and then disappearing could be made into a tale that could happen in the future. The Betsumon that took over Meicoomon's life is taken cared of and Meicoomon's friends go off to find him.

Another good episode. This is made even worse when Gammamon is literally like toddler as its character trait.

Man I getting bored watch this and the plot barely move, its just like Detective Conan story pattern, first the intro, show the problem, found the culprit, solution for the problem(which all of them by fighting) and happy end, rinse and repeat.

DC is murder mystery type of genre though. They always have a pattern.
Maybe not the best comparison.

it's not, but it's definitely getting tiring after 30+ episode and we still know nothing about his dad and digital world. I liked this show at the first 20 episode or so but they really need to move on

At thiis point kind of accepted the plotlessness, I like the characters and music a lot lol

His dad is perfectly fine though so the digital world is unnecessary

consider this, you wonder if your dad is okay, then you are able to confirm that he is (the reply that BlackTailmon gave him) and you don't have any other reason to abandon your current daily life, would you go? Also, Hiro seems content with the way things are AND thinks that GOING to the Digital World is not necessarily safe thanks to a warning he got early on.

Not even mad there's no Lemortmon this week, that was really good. Probably my favorite where nobody died. The storytelling and just the overall direction were both a lot different and better than usual. The tone was a lot more dreary than usual, and there were a lot of little things, like how you never see Gammamon's face on the computer screen. The director and storyboarder weren't anyone new, so I wonder what the deal is.

Next week I'm back to complaining about no bunsquatch evolution though.

like really. she claim how she could do something that evil. didn't so do worst and he even knows about it? did she forget the he knows that she setup her sister to be assaulted and got her pregnant? I guess evil people do so many evil deeds that they forget all the crimes they commit and only believe that their recent crime is the only thing they did.
